Blackjack Decks and Player Positions

May 29th, 2011

Today, we’re about to take a look at a few major components to the game of Blackjack through the playing card decks and participant playing position.

Blackjack may be dealt with any number of decks. As the total of decks of cards rises, this game will become much better for the gambling house. In the past, the hand was single-deck Blackjack. At some point, gambling establishments worked out they could very well enhance their odds by adding an extra deck.

These days, 1-deck Blackjack in the real world will be hard to find, except when you want to play twenty-five dollars or more each game. Typically, the lower priced limit gaming tables (lower than twenty-five dollars each round) are usually multiple-deck tables. The vast majority of these make use of four, six or 8 decks of cards.

Do not be deceived by internet casino houses. Indeed, they will often go with a sole deck, though the deck of cards is going to be shuffled right after every single game (except when stated). That isn’t the same as your 1-deck round in reality, considering that these types of games will not be mixed up when you finish each individual game. Real-world 1 deck of cards games are generally more advantageous for you.

This is not to say that you just should not have fun with playing online Blackjack. Only be alert to the variances. By way of example, considering that the online gambling houses mix up the cards following each individual round, counting cards is certainly of no use for you.

Gambler Positions

For anybody who is playing Blackjack by themselves, this particular element won’t make a difference. However, should you be playing together with other individuals, it’s smart to recognize the particular sequence of play.

The particular order of play starts off with the participant position left from the casino dealer. This place has the name 1st base. The pattern of play goes on from the clockwise course. The final gambler location to perform is always to the point right hand side of the casino dealer. This location is termed 3rd base this is a desirable position to take.

If you are walking towards a blackjack table and you’re new to Blackjack, you should not sit from the third base location. Should you have a playing slip-up, others on the blackjack table might possibly be hampered and they will end up being upset at you. Then again, should you be a trained Blackjack gamer, the third base spot is the one that you’ll more than likely choose.

Certain gamblers are actually superstitious and can solely sit in specific locations. In fact, it really is pretty much all luck of the draw. Truly the only real constant is that an undesirable gambler sitting at 3rd base can easily spoil a blackjack table. For example, the casino dealer could possibly have a six showing and the weak player hits on fifteen, gets a face card and busts. The dealer subsequently takes a face card, receives a three and holds on nineteen, most likely cleaning everybody out.

Should you be that gamer and this scenario takes place, you’ll cease to enjoy excitement. Other players are going to be staring you down and you simply will not take pleasure in your own “enjoyable” time. Beginners might want to sit at 1st base when possible. Here is the first player to act each and every hand and it’s next to the dealer. It’s really a fantastic position if you think maybe you will want some playing support.

Of course player position does not matter if you are playing online Blackjack, because, in most cases, you are playing against the dealer and there are no other players.

As an experienced Blackjack player I have played with so many people who really do not know how to play the game, not even the basics. So if you are just starting to learn how to play, read my articles or pay a visit to Online Blackjack Headquarters and learn all you need to about casino and Online Blackjack.

How Player May Win Money Playing Blackjack

May 1st, 2011

Blackjack is a relatively simple game. Keep reading this article to find out how player may win money by playing blackjack. Every person at the table is given 2 cards face up or down (depending on the casino’s rules). The dealer will give herself two cards, one face up and one face down. The dealer’s card that is up in addition to the players two cards is what will determine the players next move. The object of the game is to get as close to a total of 21 points without going over and while still having a higher total than the dealer. Being dealt an ace and a face as your first two cards is a blackjack and you automatically win!

Blackjack strategy is easy to follow and follow you must if you wish to get the best odds at winning money. Always assume the dealer has a face card as their down card. If the dealer’s up card is a six or lower, then the rules state that at a dealer 16 they must take a third card. So the player ought not risk busting their hand, even if they have a measly 12. The player can hit if they have an eleven or lower. In fact it may be wise to double your bet if the player has an 11. Odds are the dealer will get a hand totaling over 21 and everyone will win as the dealer busts. If the dealer shows a 7 or higher, still assume the down card is a ten. Then play your two cards in a way to beat the dealers hypothetical hand. Take a card or two but never hit a hand that is 17 or higher (unless soft which means they contain an ace).

If the dealer shows a face card, they will check using a special mirror on the table if their second card is an ace. If it is, that means the dealer has a blackjack and the game is over. If the dealer shows an ace, they will ask if the table wants insurance. It doesn’t matter what insurance offers you or what your cards are at this point. Insurance is what is known as a sucker’s bet. Don’t buy it. The dealer will now check her down card, if it is a face card, she has blackjack and everyone looses. If not, play continues. Play your hand as if the dealer had a face card up. Each casino has their own house rules and some have different side bets players can take a chance on. These are gambles and don’t have odds in favor of the player. However its possible to get lucky so some people will choose to take this gamble. It’s important to note that the least amount of decks a card plays with is best for its players. So sit down at a one or two deck game as opposed to a 6 or 7 deck game.

The card game of black jack has been played and enjoyed by many people over the years. The rules are simple and you will win money if you play wisely.

BlackJack – Player Options

October 29th, 2010

There are many options available to you once the cards have been dealt. Your decisions over time, will be the ultimate decider of whether you win a fortune or lose your shirt.

The player elects to “stand” with the current total and not to draw any additional cards. If you are in a game where the cards are dealt face-down, you slip your cards under your chips. The dealer will understand the message. If you are in a face-up game, wave your hand back and forth in a wiping motion just above your cards, which is the signal for standing. All casinos insist on some form of hand signal; verbal statements are not accepted. Casinos can get rather noisy, and it is easy for a dealer to mishear a player. Also, the cameras hidden in the casino’s ceilings can be used to resolve disputes only if hand signals are used, since they do not have an audio component.

The player elects to draw an additional card or cards. If you are in a face-down game, draw your cards toward you with a quick scratching motion against the felt once or twice. In a face-up game, make a similar motion with your fingertips or, preferably, point to your cards with your index finger.

If your first two cards are of the same value, you may split them and play each as a separate hand. To indicate a desire to split your cards, place an additional wager equivalent to the original one to the side of it. If you are playing in a face-down game, you must expose your cards. After splitting a pair, various other options become available. You can re-split if a third like-valued card appears. Or you can double down on the split hands should an appropriate card be drawn. For example, if you have split 8′s and catch a 3 on the first 8, you may now double down on this total of 11. Both re-splitting and doubling and doubling down after a split are to the player’s advantage.

Doubling Down

The player may double the size of the original bet and elect to draw only one additional card. The typical doubling situation is where you have a hand that stands a chance of becoming a very good hand with one additional card; for example, your first two cards total 10 or 11. To indicate a double down bet, slide a second wager to the side of the original bet. This wager may be as much as but no more than your original bet. If you are playing in a face-down game, you must expose your cards. Virtually all casinos permit doubling on 11 and 10; most on 11, 10, and 9, and many will allow it on any two cards. The latter rule is the most advantageous to the player.

When the dealer shows an A, players are given the option of tak-ing insurance against the dealers’ having blackjack. Calling this “insurance” is a bit misleading. Actually, it is nothing other than a side bet that is paid at 2 to 1. If you wish to take insurance (which is only recommended in very specific circumstances recognizable by an expert card counter only), place a bet equal to half your original bet in the semicircle running just in front of the your betting spot. If the dealer has black-jack, you will lose your original bet but win the insurance wa-ger and break even on the hand. If the dealer does not have blackjack, you will lose the insurance bet and the hand will be played out normally.

If your hand looks particularly unpromising against the dealers’ exposed card, you have the option of surrendering half of your bet and retiring from the hand. For example, should you have 9, 7 against a dealer 10 and your chances of winning the hand are slim — less than.5 — and it would be to your advantage to give up half your bet. There are to forms of surrender: “late” and “early.” In the late form, the player may surrender after the first two cards provided that the dealer does not have blackjack. In early surrender, the player may surrender after the first two cards even when the dealer is later revealed to have blackjack. Both forms of surrender are to the players’ ad-vantage, with early surrender being most beneficial. Not all casinos permit late surrender, and those that do don’t necessarily post it at the tables. Except for the occasional promotion, no casino offers early surrender any longer.

Surrender, by the way, is the only play at the table that re-quires a verbal response; there is no hand signal. If you wish to surrender you hand, just say “Surrender.” The dealer will re-move half your bet and return the other half.

How Does a Professional Blackjack Player Win at Blackjack 21 All the Time?

October 16th, 2010

It is easy! No, it is not about basic strategy, it is not about card counting accuracy and it is not about working in a team or relying on one’s luck! It is not about reading soft hands or hard hands either…

It is all about discipline! Yes! It is about controlling your emotions!

What is the objective of the game? It is to beat the dealer and get your cards to total 21 or as close as possible.

If your cards go over 21, you bust and lose. Worse, as a player, you must act first to see if you go bust.

All these game rules create emotions. Emotions to win, emotions not to lose, emotions of what if I go over 21? There is fear of losing your hard earned money, fear of the dealer getting blackjack, and there is joy of getting blackjack yourself, etc.

The norm of the people in casinos are controlled by these emotions and that is what the casinos are betting on all the time! To get out of the norm, you must stop playing like all the rest of the crew.

Let me tell you a true tale of a close friend at what he does in the casinos.

First and foremost, when he leaves for the casinos, he takes only what he wants to play and that is it. It is about $500 dollars. He goes to the casino and wonders around looking for a good run or “feel”. This can take about an hour or so. If he does not feel right, he will not play at all! It is that simple.

Now, when he sees opportunity in a table game, he will tack along all the $500 at one go! He fears nothing, as he had been watching and now the time is right! The money he uses is excess of his monthly needs, so he does not mind the lost if it does turn out to be that way.

Now, if he wins, he doubles his money making it one thousand for the next deal, and then takes that win of one thousand (if he wins again). This way of playing sounds scary, but it is not. Contrary to the norm, this is how you should behave in the casinos. When the going is good, hit it big. But do not forget to save some of that chips for pure profits. He doubles up very quickly, but also takes some of his winnings. In this way, if he loses at any time after the first 3 runs, he does not lose his money but the house money! There is no fear, or revenge or sadness.

Instead, there is a mild sarcastic feeling that you actually lost the house’s money! What a joke indeed!

If his runs continue to progress well in maybe about 7 times of wins, he could easily build up to excess of pure profits of $5000 in one go! Even if he loses after the third time, he still did not lose any of his money! And if he did lose that $500, well he will just come back another time.

The problem with the norm is that most players in casinos will use a little by little of their money to play, and when they start to lose, they become agitated and start throwing their money onto the tables to get back what they have lost. The problem is when you start to lose, you will actually lose even more if you continue.

So that is what professional players do not do when playing blackjack, and that is to lose their emotions!

This is the ultimate tip of how to win at blackjack games all the time!

By the way, my friend played in the casino with that $500 and left the casino with $30,000!

And guess what, he goes back to the casinos with the basic $500 again and not $30,000! This formula is repeated always and keeps his emotions at bay all the time!

At – “I’ll show you how to have an “attack plan” that will make you all the money you’ll ever need…and teach you exactly how everything is done (from A-to-Z).

Even an average ordinary person from any walk of life can unleash his hidden potential to get winnings of up to $2,000 a day — it’s that easy to understand.” You’ll get to uncover all the SECRETS, all the know-how, and you will stop asking how to win at blackjack once and for all!

Yours Sincerely,

Learn a Blackjack Betting Strategy to Become a Successful Player

October 4th, 2010

Learning a blackjack betting strategy is an essential task to become a successful blackjack player. There are various strategies for performing the betting games. There are many betting strategies possible which work in different specific situations but the best one is that which works successfully in a particular game. Most of the strategies are scientifically originated and tested so as to offer winning chances against house odds of the dealer’s face up card.

Progressive Blackjack Betting Strategy: This is realistic in making you win consecutive games. It is based on the probability of winning two to three games straight. Thus progressively betting in such wins by adopting progressive strategy provides full advantage to such occurrences. Key matter here is that betting is not of hefty amount on either first or second hands but bets of small increments which make this strategy good for minimum betting in blackjack. It may also be done with bigger incremental wagers. It is a feasible and safer strategy to minimize losses.

Special Blackjack Betting Strategy: If we consider a track of, say, 100 plays, we may be able to study a pattern of groups of wins and losses. Many specialists have successfully studied these alternative patterns and concluded that a sequence always emerges in short successions. So the strategy is to note the emerging trend from the ongoing game and not getting carried away from 2-3 wins. Such strategy offers safety margins and practical betting sequence.

Apart from them, there are many factors which affect these blackjack betting strategies like doubling down cannot always succeed, winning and losing trends, dealer’s exposed card, betting limits, house odds and our odds. These factors are important to understand so as to make a specific betting strategy a success. Online betting strategies are also important while playing over the internet like knowledge of basic strategy, avoiding of insurance bets etc.
